Est. 2026 — Erith, Kent

We're not open yet.

I'm CJ. I fit windows for a living. My big sister has spent her career around fragrance, and between us we've spent the last year building a candle we'd actually want in our own houses — cast by hand, poured in Britain, and made to be refilled instead of binned.

Leave your email and I'll tell you the day it's ready. Nothing before that.

  • One email when we open. That's the whole plan.
  • No daily nonsense, no fake countdowns, no last chance.
  • We never sell or share your details with anyone.
  • Unsubscribe in one click, and it actually works.

We store your email address so we can tell you when we launch, and send the occasional thing afterwards if you still want it. Ask us to delete it whenever you like and we will. Privacy Policy.

Questions in the meantime? Email hello@smellsdecent.co.uk and one of us will answer.

What you're waiting for

Smells Decent is a small British fragrance company run by a brother and a sister. He fits windows and casts the vessels. She has spent a career around luxury brands, fragrance and philanthropy.

Every fragrance is designed from scratch with a family-owned British fragrance house that has been going eighty-five years — no knock-offs, nothing copied and sold back to you at a markup. And nothing comes in a jar you throw away.

  • The candle Gran's House. Baked apple, caramel, tobacco and oakmoss, in a hand-cast Jesmonite vessel made in Kent and built to be refilled rather than binned.
  • The Hero Kit Two 10ml rollerballs. One to pick you up in the morning, one to put you down at night. Following once its safety assessment clears.
  • The point of it £2.00 from every item goes to Andy's Man Club, printed on the box so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
